[ARCHIVE_03] THE CRUSADE: IRON, FAITH, AND FRICTION

[LOG_TYPE: HISTORICAL_FRICTION_RECON]

I am currently conducting a deep study into the Crusades—specifically the physical and psychological friction of the 11th and 12th centuries. This isn't just a study of war; it’s a study of fortification. How did faith manifest in stone? How did the collision of East and West create the visual language of the medieval world?

We are using these findings to build and understand the true role of faith in Western World Building. The Crusades represent a peak in "High-Stakes Narrative"—where every choice had eternal consequences. That is the level of tension we want to bake into our digital worlds.

STATUS: Modeling Crusader-era masonry and armor logic for the Forge.
